Another round of the FEDORA Prizes competition has just been launched. Opera houses, dance companies and festivals can now apply on our platform www.fedora-platform.com/competition/apply-now until December 13th, 2019, noon!
Selected projects by our expert partners Opera Europa, RESEO and IMZ International Music + Media Centre will then be published in February on our website for the call for votes, during which anyone can vote for their favorite projects, and eventually nominate one project per category for the second round of the competition.
Be prepared then for the crowdfunding campaigns of nominees chosen by our jury and by the public, as of spring! This is the moment when you can be part of the creation process and see the insights of a new opera or ballet production: buy signed pointes shoes or access to Q&As with the artists, while contributing to the artists and production team.
The final winners, chosen by an independent jury of experts, will then be announced during our annual Award Ceremony in June.
Who do you think will be the next winners for Opera, Ballet, Education and Digital Prizes?
Stay tuned for the announcement of the shortlist in February!
